Insider Threat Introduction

Understanding what constitutes an insider threat and what potential insider activity looks like is critical to combatting this threat.

Developing an Insider Threat Mitigation Strategy

Initiating an insider threat mitigation programme and how this can be achieved through a risk assessment process and pro-active engagement with the workforce.

Interviewing for High-Risk Recruitment

Due diligence at the recruitment stage can play a vital part in keeping your organisation safe, especially when recruiting for sensitive roles.

Interviewing for Investigation

There are universal signals we can’t hide, in our voices and in our actions. These signs reveal when a subject is under pressure and inform our questioning strategies.

Developing Organisational and Security Culture

Changing an organisational culture, and security culture within this, can be one of the hardest things to achieve. However, if a change in culture is achieved, it can be one of the key mitigation elements in mitigating insider threat.

Social Engineering and the Unwitting Insider

The impact of non-malicious or ‘unwitting’ insiders can be devastating. How employee vulnerabilities and their ‘willingness to help’ can be exploited by social engineers and criminals.

It includes an essential introduction to the relevant anatomy and physiology, to give the student an understanding of how common agents might affect the body which, in turn, informs strategies for individual and collective protection.
